Carrypicker wins GLEC accreditation

The online forwarder Carrypicker has fulfilled the quality standards of the Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) and obtained the corresponding accreditation of the Smart Freight Centre (SFC), which campaigns for emission-free freight transport services worldwide.

With the certificate, the experts confirm that the artificial intelligence software developed by the Hamburg (Germany)-based start-up can demonstrably optimise truck transports and thus reduce CO2 emissions. “The accreditation we received from Smart Freight Centre is a great award,” says Andreas Karanas, founder and CEO of Carrypicker.

“It is a recognition and motivation for us at the same time, because we continue to work to improve our algorithms and make logistics fit for the future.” The company see itself as a forwarder for the future. In fractions of a second, Carrypicker calculates the best solution to schedule a road transport assignment with the help of an AI software that is based on 300 million freight data. (mw)
