Cargo-Partner buys stake in Sim Cargo
The European general cargo network Sim Cargo has accepted Cargo-Partner's offer to acquire a third of its shares. With its 50 employees, Sim Cargo, which was founded in 2020, provides logistics and digital services for 260 medium-sized system partners.
Both parties know each other well. Cargo-Partner is a long-standing system partner of Sim Cargo for transports to and from Central and Eastern Europe.
Alex Bauz, managing director of Sim Cargo: "With the global player in air and sea freight on our side, ventures such as the FITs IT project could be accelerated." The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of Q3/2022. (sh)
