Cargo-Partner: a major investment in China
The transport and logistics company headquartered in Austria has opened additional offices and logistics centres in China over the last three months.
In Shanghai, for example, Cargo-Partner now operates a competence centre for pharmaceuticals and healthcare. It serves as an operational hub for exporting and importing companies that require GDP-compliant transport solutions for medical products. Here, Cargo-Partner offers temperature-controlled air and sea freight services, as well as temperature-controlled truck transports on the first and last mile.
In Guangzhou, the company has put an additional warehouse into operation, increasing its warehouse space in China to a total of 22,000 sqm. It has also moved into a new office building in Chongquin in central China and expanded its local network with a new sales representative office in Nanjing.
Cargo-Partner has had a local presence in China since 2004 and now employs 380 people at 16 locations in the country. (ben)
