Cargo awards from Brussels Airport
Because of the pandemic and the difficult year for aviation, Brussels Airport was not able to present its cargo awards in the traditional manner.
However, during an unusual virtual event, the airport recognised its partners and the air cargo community, who have “launched new routes, achieved remarkable growth cargo or distinguished themselves in some other way”, and others, who have “made a special contribution to the environment and the on-going improvement of safety standards and awareness”.
Carrier Sichuan Airlines won the network development cargo award, Virgin Atlantic the Brucargo award and Kuehne + Nagel the logistics provider award.
Ninatrans was honoured with the environment award, Federal Police received the safety award, Air Cargo Belgium the special achievement award, and finally, the cargo airline performance award went to Qatar Airways Cargo. (amh)
