Building up the air cargo branch
A takeover in the Netherlands: Global Transport Solutions (GTS), the holding company of Marinetrans and Best Global Logistics, has acquired Cargo Holland, a freight forwarder specialising in air freight solutions located at Schiphol Airport. Marc Kort (CEO of Cargo Holland) has been appointed managing director of both Cargo Holland and Best Global Logistics Netherlands.
GTS offers 4PL and 3PL international time-critical logistics, with a main focus on marine spare parts and other time-critical and complex transports.
Marinetrans is a major fourth-party logistics (4PL) provider that specialises in forwarding and logistics services for marine spare parts. The company is headquartered in Singapore and has eight additional offices around the globe – in the Netherlands, Norway, Germany, Greece, Japan, Korea, India and the United States. (cd)
