Building an H2 alliance
Canadian fuel cell expert Ballard Power Systems and German hydrogen system specialist Neumann & Esser have secured a minority stake in Quantron, a specialist in battery and hydrogen electric commercial vehicles.
Ballard Power is also entering into a development collaboration with Quantron to accelerate the launch of fuel cell trucks with up to four platforms in the next twelve months. The vision is to build an H2 alliance - from fuel cells to H2 infrastructure to an H2 refuelling alliance open to other manufacturers of fuel cell powered commercial vehicles (ben)
