Brussels Airport: cargo team still growing
Geert Aerts (left), director cargo & logistics was promoted to chief cargo & real estate officer, effective 1 October 2022.
The company also appointed Dimitri Bettoni (middle) as head of cargo, product & network development. His most recent role was CEO of Swissport’s cargo services in Belgium. Bettoni has also worked for DHL and Aviapartner and run his own company, a pharma logistics provider, for several years.
Toon Beylmakers (right) is in his sixth year at Brussels Airport Company and joined the cargo team last September. Having worked in various positions in the operations departments of Flightcare, Aviapartner and Brussels Airport Company for the past 15 years, he brings the necessary experience and expertise to succeed Marc Bogaerts in the role of cargo & logistics operations manager.
