Bremenports diverts shipping traffic
Bremen‘s North Lock will be closed to shipping for one and a half months due to renovation work. During this time, maritime traffic will be directed via the Kaiserschleuse. The renovation is scheduled to be completed in November.
The wheels and rails of the side and top carriages have to be replaced due to wear and tear after many years of operation. (cd)
