Breb and Iberdrola opt for Mukran Port
Efforts to transform Mukran Port in Sassnitz, on the island of Rügen (Germany), into a state-of-the-art universal port are continuing. To this end, the shipping company Breb and Mukran Port have concluded a long-term contract.
With its continental line, Breb offers services from the Baltic Sea to ports in the North Sea, the Iberian Peninsula, and locations on the Mediterranean and Adriatic coasts.
The agreement provides the contractual basis for Breb’s regular calls at the Mukran Port. In the offshore business, the Spanish energy company Iberdrola has signed a letter of intent to set up another offshore service station for the new Baltic Eagle wind park. (kd)
