Boluda Lines launches Canary service

Boluda Lines, the maritime transport division of the Valencian shipping company Boluda Corporación Marítima, will start a daily service from the port of Cádiz to the Canary Islands in December. Six container ships will operate this new line, which will have a transit time suitable for perishable products.

According to Boluda, this new service modifies the current logistics model with the Canary Islands, since “it introduces important improvements in distribution times, stock of products, reduction of emissions and, above all, in the useful life of the goods transported.”

The six vessels will be able to load 45-foot high cube pallet wide (HCPW) regular and refrigerated (reefer) containers that are specially adapted to transport up to 33 EUR-pallets. (cd)
