Bolstering combined transport in Europe
On 16 May 2024, Contargo’s CEO Jürgen Albersmann was elected to the board of directors of the International Union for Road-Rail Combined Transport (UIRR). In this capacity, Albersmann wants to contribute to strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of European CT operators and thus enable combined transport to become a major driver for the transition to sustainable mobility.
Altersmann: “Contargo is now a CT company at the heart of Europe with over 90% cross-border services. The promotion of combined transport as a climate-friendly alternative and an answer to infrastructure bottlenecks in European networks is a decisive factor for the development of our business.” (cj)
