Bolloré Logistics acquires Global Freight Solutions
Bolloré Logistics has expanded its presence in the Nordics with the acquisition of a majority stake in the Swedish company Global Freight Solutions and its Finnish affiliate. This move is part of the company's strategy to complement its regional network, having previously set up an organisation in Norway, which was followed by a similar investment in Denmark.
Established in 2006, Global Freight Solutions is headquartered in the maritime hub of Gothenburg, with additional offices in Stockholm and Helsinki, offering a comprehensive portfolio of services.
Henri Le Gouis, CEO Europe of Bolloré Logistics, said: “I am delighted to strengthen our footprint in the region. As the deal neared completion, we had already been working together under a partnership arrangement which opened up many commercial opportunities. Now we are delighted to formalise our shared future, such as coupling up with the company’s industrial projects division." (mw)
