Blue economy talks in Barcelona
The sixth ‘Smart Ports: Piers of the Future’ conference, part of the “Tomorrow Blue Economy” event within Barcelona's Smart City Expo World Congress, will take place from 5-7 November 2024.
Focused on innovation, sustainability, and the blue economy, the conference will bring together global port leaders and experts to discuss the future of the port industry, with a particular emphasis on sustainable use of marine resources.
Key sessions will explore disruptive technology in ports, port-city integration, and new port business models, while collaboration with C40 Cities will introduce sustainable initiatives. “Smart Ports: Piers of the Future” is organised by Fira de Barcelona, in cooperation with the port of Barcelona, Barcelona Activa, and the World Ocean Council.
