BLG Logistics picks head for contract division


Bremen (Germany)-based port and logistics company BLG Logistics has appointed Matthias Magnor, expert in management, logistics, services and retail, to join the management board on 1 October 2021. He will head the contract division, succeeding Jens Wollesen, who leaves at his own request.

 

Klaus Meier, chairman of the supervisory board of Bremer Lagerhaus-Gesellschaft: “Over the last five years, Wollesen successfully opened up new markets and customer segments. We wish him all the best for his professional and personal future.”

 

Joining from Hellmann Worldwide Logistics based in Osnabrück, where he was COO and a member of the executive board, with responsibility for road, rail and CEP. From 2014 to 2015, he served as CEO for LH Bundeswehr Bekleidungsgesellschaft, Cologne, which supplies clothing to the armed forces and civilian personnel of the German federal army and police force.
