BLG handles logistics for fischerwerke
With immediate effect, BLG Logistics has taken charge of all logistic services for articles from the fischer-System-Tec-product portfolio and the fischer standard fixings range as a strategic partner of the Fischer group.
After the contract was signed in May 2019, the first delivery was started on 5 August from the logistics centre in Düsseldorf (Germany). “We started our joint planning already at the beginning of this year, including drawing up a special packaging concept for long products. This early start of close cooperation with our new customer helped us to implement a customised and easy logistics solution,” says Christian Dieckhöfer, executive director of BLG Industrielogistik.”
BLG Logistics operates the distribution warehouse in Düsseldorf, where 5,000 sqm of a total area of 30,000 sqm are reserved for fischerwerke. From this facility, national and international end customers and national subsidiaries are supplied with the industrial products. (mw)
