Big project in San Bernardino
Alliance California, a public-private partnership between the Inland Valley Development Agency, SBD International Airport and Hillwood, achieved a major milestone as the San Bernardino international airport authority commission approved the final ground lease for the Eastgate air cargo facility.
Located at SBD International Airport, the project is part of the airport’s master plan to revitalise the former Norton air force base.
The project which is located on the north side of the airport near 3rd Street and Victoria Ave., proposes a 61,100 sqm building, two 2,300 sqm maintenance buildings and 166,000 sqm of new aircraft ramp and expects 12 daily flights during the first year and 26 daily flights by year five. (ah)
