BIC new board-member and officer appointments
The Bureau International des Containers (BIC) recently made the following changes to its board of directors: Armand Toubol was appointed treasurer of the BIC. A long-standing BIC board member, Toubol has held a number of executive positions including director of SNCF Fret, chairman and CEO of CNC, and CEO of Sealink. He replaces Jean-François Petiaux, who held the role of treasurer for the previous nine years.
Giordano Bruno Guerrini was re-elected chairman of the board of directors for three years. A licensed ships agent, Guerrini has over 45 years’ experience in the transport field and is a veteran of Hapag Lloyd.
Lucia Cavallo of Bureau Veritas was appointed to the board of directors. A twelve year veteran of Bureau Veritas, Cavallo currently serves as transport and logistic services manager. (mw)
