Belarusian Railway boosts digital freight transport
Belarusian Railway has launched a new mobile app powered by a mobile platform sub-system that operates as part of a computerised system for digital process flows in freight transport. All participants involved in railfreight operations can now use digital technologies to have their freight transported using legally binding electronic documents.
The mobile app allows users to view, sign, and authorise digital documents on mobile Android 5.0 and above devices. Depending on the user’s role in freight transport process, current tasks and the technical capabilities of the mobile device, the functions of the app can be mixed and matched. (ben)
