Baotou-Yekaterinburg express service launched
The new train is the first China Railway Express (CRE) to be operated in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, an autonomous region within China.
Bound for Yekaterinburg in Russia, the maiden train, which recently left the Baotou international land port, was loaded with 55 containers of domestically manufactured heavy vehicle components. China Railway Container Transport is the main operator of the freight train.
The new service will help companies in the region of Baotou to accelerate the integration of processing and manufacturing businesses in Inner Mongolia with international trade and logistics markets, CRE said. (ben)
