BAG issues ECMT licences for 2021
Application documents for ECMT licences for 2021 can now be ordered from the branch offices of the German federal office for goods transport (BAG). Applications must be submitted by 1 October 2020.
The ECTM licence authorises road hauliers to transport goods across borders between the ECMT states. According to the federal office, these include almost all member states of the European Union as well as UK, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland and a large number of countries in eastern and south-eastern Europe.
However, in Austria, Italy, Greece and the Russian Federation only a limited number of ECMT licences are issued per year. (ben)
