In March 2021, road haulage capacity on the routes between France and UK rose to 134.6 index points, 7.8% up from the previous month and also 7.8% higher than in March 2020. Capacities on this route have been growing since the beginning of this year, as a survey conducted by Transporeon shows.
Prices on this Franco-British corridor are also steadily decreasing. While in December 2020 they reached a two-year high of 154.3 index points owing to Brexit uncertainties, they have now dropped to 119.8 index points, 6.5% below the level of February 2021 but still 21.2% higher than in March 2020.
