Axell Group sells off part of its portfolio
The Dutch Axell Group in Diessen is strengthening its focus on logistics. The Timmermans family has been at the helm of the family business since it was founded in 1933. In 1996, the company opened its first logistics branch in Poland, in 1999, it launched the temporary employment agency.
Now, the takeover of Axell Employment by Otto Work Force has been officially concluded. Axell Logistics and Axell Financial Services in the Netherlands and Poland will not be acquired and will remain part of Axell Group.
In the Netherlands, this concerns transport and storage services provided under the Axell Logistics flag. The company has various storage and distribution centres in Diessen and Etten-Leur. Henriëtte Timmermans, owner of Axell Group: “By selling our staffing division, we can now fully focus on the Axell Group’s primary activities.” (sh)
