Axel Hinz to manage Hamburg area
The MBS Logistics Group, a global freight forwarder headquartered in Cologne, Germany, has appointed Axel Hinz as managing director for its offices in Hamburg and Norderstedt, effective immediately. In addition to this role, Hinz will use his sea freight expertise to support the global management team in enhancing this product in the MBS Group.
An industry veteran, Hinz brings more than 35 years of experience in the logistics sector, with a strong track record in air and ocean freight. He has held leadership positions at several European logistics companies, including JCL Logistics, Rhenus, Geis Group and Damco. He takes over from Arne Lorenzen, who is retiring after 15 years as managing director for the offices in northern Germany. (cj)
