Axel Frey named CEO of Seifert Logistics Group
Banking on continuity: the Seifert Logistics Group (SLG) has chosen Axel Frey, Harald Seifert's long-time companion and confidant, to take over the helm of the family-owned company. Mario Wolter has been appointed COO forwarding to head the international group’s forwarding division.
Frey has been working for SLG for 14 years, most recently as managing director. With his leadership experience in the role of head of business development, he has played a key role in the company’s major growth phases.
SLG's transformation process, which began in 2019, will continue in 2022, when it celebrates its 75th anniversary. The rejuvenation of the SLG’s top management already began in 2020, when Frey and Marcel Vogelmann assumed their current roles as managing directors. (cj)
