Avia Solutions Group now based in Ireland
The Avia Solutions Group is now based in Ireland. Following the transfer of its controlling headquarters to Dublin the group also became the second-largest Irish-registered aviation business, behind Ryanair.
Avia CEO Jonas Janukenas explained that “Ireland is known as a strong aviation hub with many aviation companies located there. Being closer to this community will enable us to implement our plans faster."
According to Janukenas one of the reasons for choosing Ireland was that the company’s financial instruments on the Dublin stock exchange have been purchased by some of the world’s largest institutional investors from the USA and Europe. (cj)
