Arkas Line hits the American shore
Arkas Line is expanding into the American market by adding the ‘M/v Sine A’ to its USX (United States Express) service, in partnership with Turkon and Hapag Llyod. This move transforms the existing service into a weekly route with seven vessels.
Starting with the ‘Max Schulte’ from Mersin on 26 February, the service will operate on a 49-day rotation, covering ports in Turkey, Spain, the USA, and Morocco.
Arkas Line says it aims to offer direct connections and transhipment services to major ports in the Mediterranean, Black Sea, and Africa, thereby combining sustainability and environmental goals with a responsible expansion of its network. (pb)
