Appointments and promotions at Tapa

The Transported Asset Protection Association (Tapa), a global supply chain resilience and security association, has added new executives to its leadership team and advisory board in Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Thorsten Neumann, president and CEO of Tapa EMEA, has promoted Ap Boom, former volunteer member of EMEA’s board of directors, to the position of Tapa EMEA’s new chief financial and compliance officer. With more than 20 years’ experience in the security industry, Boom's career in supply chain security started 2009, when he joined TNT.

Markus Prinz has also joined Tapa EMEA’s team in the newly created role of senior manager, trainings and standards. Previously, Prinz spent over 20 years with logistics services providers in Germany.

Moreover, Tapa EMEA has elected Marcel Saarloos, Mark Grüntjes, Björn Hartong and Paul Linders to the region’s advisory board. They will join the three previously elected members. (amh)
