APL unveils AAX2 service
The CMA CGM affiliate APL is set to launch a new weekly Asia Australia Express 2 (AAX2) service that will directly connect the Southeast Asian ports of Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia to the Australian cities of Brisbane and Sydney.
The AAX2 service is poised to be the only service in the market that offers a direct link between Ho Chi Minh City and Australia. An AAX2 shipment from Ho Chi Minh to Brisbane and Sydney will take 16 days and 18 days respectively.
The AAX2 service will commence sailing from Ho Chi Minh City on 15 March. The port rotation will be: Ho Chi Minh – Port Kelang – Singapore – Jakarta – Brisbane – Sydney – Port Kelang and Ho Chi Minh. (kd)
