Another train to ship containers from China
The Russian container transport operator Ruscon (part of Delo Group) is extending its radius from China and has launched regular import rail services from China to Moscow. Containers travel from the Xi’an railway station (Shaanxi Province) in China to Kresty in the Moscow region. Transit time is 20-25 days.
Transporting a wide range of cargo, the new train will initially run twice a month, with the potential to increase the frequency of departures to four a month in a second phase.
The first shipment, recently completed, delivered containers with goods from major Chinese automobile manufacturers, consumer goods, and chemical products. (ben)
