Another regional parcel centre for Swiss Post
Swiss Post recently opened its new regional parcel centre in Buchs after 15 months of planning and construction. From now on, 175 employees will be sorting and delivering parcels on site for the greater Aarau, Lenzburg, Seetal, Suhrental and Wynental areas, which will shorten transport routes.
After Rümlang, Buchs is the second regional parcel centre that Swiss Post will put into operation in 2022. To equip the centre, Swiss Post has invested around CHF 15 million in the conversion of a warehouse. In Buchs, Swiss Post can process up to 5,000 parcels per hour. (sh)
