An operator for Louisville rail terminal
Precision Terminal Logistics (PTL) will operate Norfolk Southern’s rail terminal in Louisville, Kentucky, supplying transloading services for various shippers in the area.
The Louisville terminal can handle hazmat and non-hazmat materials, dry and liquid bulk products, food grade products, aggregates, lumber, plastics, and other dry bulk materials. It also houses a certified truck scale.
The facility holds 75 total railcar spots and provides access to not only the immediate Louisville market, but also Cincinnati, Ohio, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Owensboro, Kentucky. As operations ramp up, PTL will coordinate directly with Norfolk Southern’s rail integrated solutions division. (ben)
