Amazon's Austrian addition
The European VGP Group has developed a distribution centre for the online retailer Amazon at VGP Park Graz in Premstätten in Austria.
Spanning an area of 62,000 sqm and including a multi-storey carpark with 671 parking spaces, the facility is scheduled to go on stream in H2/2024. It will be Amazon’s fifth logistics hub in the country.
The online retailer has already begun to advertise vacancies for the hub, which is close to a major motorway and covers the Graz conurbation. VGP has been active in Austria since 2019 and has already realised a first project in Graz and is developing more projects in Laxenburg and Ehrenfeld. (mk)
