All deep sea ports now have direct links to Nuremberg

European Gateway Services (EGS) has added another improvement to its network of connections between southern Germany and the port of Rotterdam (the Netherlands).

On Saturday (01.02.2020) Rotterdam World Gateway (RWG) was added to the network, which means that the train from Rotterdam to Nuremberg now offers direct routes to all deep sea terminals on the Maasvlakte.

With the thrice-weekly train service between Rotterdam and Munich v.v. and its offer of last-mile deliveries, EGS has now completed its network of connections between Rotterdam and Bavaria. The recent enlargement was undertaken to respond to increasing demand from shippers, freight forwarders and shipping companies, EGS said. (ben)
