Airfreight partners to connect in the clouds
The Singapore-based digital enabler Cargo Ai and Chain.io, a US cloud-base integration platform, have formed a strategic technology partnership. The aim is to allow most large and medium-sized freight forwarders on Chain.io’s network to easily connect to Cargo Ai’s platform to make instant bookings to the GSAs and airlines, while remaining on their own TMS.
Cargo Ai founder and CEO Matt Petot: "These functionalities were requested by most of our existing users. We are delighted to solidify this strategic partnership with Chain.io to enable new efficiency gains and drastically improve the visibility of our global airline partners."
The partnership will commence with rates, capacity, e-booking and tracking information as well as CO2 calculation, bringing modern capabilities to the TMS. (ah)
