Air Asia and Oman Air agree on interline partnership
Redcargo Logistics, the cargo and logistics platform of the Malaysian carrier Air Asia, has signed an interline agreement with Oman Air, providing its customers with access to belly space on Oman Air’s cargo and freight network including services to Africa, the UK and Europe.
The customers of the Middle Eastern airline will in turn be able to book cargo space on Air Asia's network of more than 5,000 weekly flights across Southeast Asia, involving key Oman Air destinations such as Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Bangkok (Thailand), Manila (Philippines) and Jakarta (Indonesia).
Redcargo Logistics CEO Pete Chareonwongsak: "This is a great example of how two airlines can work together to maximise e-commerce growth in the region. The ability to transport cargo from Asean countries to Africa, the UK and Europe has never been easier thanks to this partnership." (ah)
