AI to improve digital freight matching
The North American time critical transport specialist Bolt Express has launched a digital system which streamlines the freight matching process by seamlessly integrating via API, EDI, or XML with high-volume shipping accounts.
For all other ad-hoc customer shippers, Bolt simplifies shipment set-up by using the power of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to read and instantly process new requests submitted via e-mail, phone, or text.
The system also includes a freight optimiser component, which automatically matches new shipment requests with a vehicle of the right size. In 2024, Bolt plans to enhance the mobile application to enable a quick access to the information, images and its support team. (ben)
