AI-powered routing for hauliers
Mandata has reported that it has partnered with AI route optimisation specialist ‘Optimize’ to enhance efficiency in transport and logistics.
The integration will incorporate Optimize’s AI-powered algorithms into Mandata’s transport management system (TMS) solutions, including ‘Enterprise’, ‘GoPlus’, ‘Go’ and Eureka’s ‘MoveIT’, streamlining job planning and fleet operations.
By leveraging AI, the partnership aims to improve route planning “whilst simultaneously unlocking operational and environmental benefits for operators in various sectors,” as Mandata said.
Optimize’s algorithms have been shown to deliver up to 30% savings in transport operations, as the company reports. Mandata’s TMS solutions are used in the UK and Ireland by hauliers in the general haulage, bulk transport, palletised freight and specialised logistics fields.
