Adriaan den Heijer appointed EVP of Air France-KLM Cargo

Effective 1 January 2020, Adriaan den Heijer has been appointed executive vice president of Air France-KLM Cargo and managing director of Martinair Holland NV. He succeeds Marcel de Nooijer, who will join Transavia as CEO on 1 January.

Den Heijer has held various commercial, operational and management posts at KLM, Air France KLM and Cargo since 1995. In 2016, he was appointed senior vice president of Pricing & Revenue Management for Air France-KLM.

KLM president & CEO Pieter Elbers, commented: "I’m pleased that den Heijer has been elected as executive vice president of Air France-KLM Cargo. His experience in passenger and cargo, combined with his commercial and operational background at KLM and Air France, makes him a worthy successor to Nooijer. I am fully confident that den Heijer will further polish the high standards of service that Nooijer and his team have put in place in Amsterdam and Paris."
