Additional locos for north-south axis
In Switzerland, the leasing company European Loc Pool (ELP) has handed over the first of three ordered Euro9000 locomotives to Rail Care. Rail Care offers transport solutions for its parent company, the Swiss retail group Coop, and for third-party customers.
The first Euro9000 was tested and approved at the Stadler plant in Valencia (Spain) in mid-May 2024. It was then handed over to Rail Care ankd it now already in service on Swiss routes.
The new Euro9000s will enable Rail Care to significantly increase its transport capacities on the Lötschberg and Gotthard routes. They have up to 50% more load capacity. (ben) www.europeanlocpool.com
