Adding airfreight capacity in Saudi Arabia


Chapman Freeborn now works with Ajex Logistics Services to boost cargo and passenger activities in Saudi Arabia.

 

With the kingdom’s ‘Vision 2030’ aiming to increase airfreight capacities to 4.5 million t a year, Chapman Freeborn can add to its offerings in the region. Leveraging Ajex’s local expertise in express distribution and shipping, the companies are set to work together on airport ground and cargo handling, as well as on special project cargo management.

 

Over the last two years Chapman Freeborn has focused on investment in the Mena region, appointing Linas Dovydenas as its president for India, the Middle East and Africa (Imea) late last year.

 

In other news, Chapman Freeborn was named ‘Air Charter Broker of the Year’ at the ‘Payload Asia Awards’ in October last year. (mk)
