Acquisition in Italy
Interporto Rivalta Scrivia has sold Kantaro SRL, a cold chain warehousing provider in Italy, to Lineage Logistics. The acquisition includes three warehouses in Nocetolo in the Reggio Emilia province between Parma and Bologna.
The takeover is another step in Lineage’s expansion policy in the Italian cold storage market, complementing the company’s existing European footprint, which currently covers Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Poland and UK.
Kantaro’s three properties are located on a plot covering more than 100,000 sqm, with the possibility to expand on another 90,000 sqm, providing a mix of frozen, cold and dry storage. The price of the transaction was not disclosed. (sh)
