A weekend engine rush
B&H Worldwide has successfully transported an aircraft engine to Northern Rescue Helicopter’s Whangerei Base, New Zealand.
The aviation logistics provider had a strict deadline to ship the Sikorsky S-76 engine from the Sunshine Coast, Australia to Whangerei. It received the order on a Friday afternoon and organised the transport over the weekend, managing to deliver the engine by Monday.
The engine could then be used by Northern Rescue for its operations in New Zealand. From its base in Whangerei, it provides Northland with rescue services.
