A TMS tool for transparency
The forwarder Craiss Generation Logistik is implementing a comprehensive TMS solution for its partnership with an automobile industry supplier.
Continuing a three-decade partnership, Craiss is now looking to support the customer with supply chain and transport route optimisation. Having embarked on solving issues for the client since 2023, when the customer hosted an ideas competition which Craiss won, the company is now implementing a transport management system that will allow 80% of supplier call-offs to be handled automatically.
Matthias Jelen, the logistician’s forwarding manager, said that “introducing this TMS has enabled us to create full transparency, plannability and measurability, and raise the efficiency of our logistics processes to a new level.” (mk)
