A smooth transition
DB Schenker has appointed Aaron Scott to the role of CEO for its UK & Ireland cluster. He succeeds Ray Hennessy, who is retiring having held the position for the last eight years.
Scott joined the company in 2021 and currently serves as executive vice president contract logistics for the company’s European business. He brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having spent more than 28 years in international logistics and 3PL supply chain operations.
Scott has lived and worked in the Netherlands, the USA and Germany and has a strong track record in leading and directing operational and cross-functional teams to deliver commercial value and service excellence alongside new business growth, DB Schenker said in its press release. (cj)
