A second base in Houston
Deugro has added a second hub in Houston TX (USA), complementing an existing facility in Baytown. Dubbed Colt, after its location in the Cedar Port Industrial Park, the site is just adjacent to the Houston Ship Channel and the city’s major port terminals.
It was built on 185,000 sqm site and offers more than 15,000 sqm of indoor warehousing space, as well as an outdoor hardstand area covering 16.2 ha. Colt has 214 dock doors and 935 trailer parking places, giving Deugro connectivity to major highway systems and access to global shipping routes.
Deugro has already been active in the US logistics market for 32 years, and can now further benefit from the additional laydown and storage space for its project logistics and supply chain offerings there. (mk)
