Transport and logistics provider DB Schenker has appointed Matilde Torquemada as CEO of its branch in Iberia. Torquemada has led the company’s commercial team as a member of the management committee for the last two years.
A graduate in economics and business administration, Torquemada has 25 years of experience in supply chain management, having held various executive positions in both business development and operations before joining DB Schenker in April 2022.
Alfredo Alcalá is the new CCO of DB Schenker in Spain and Portugal, joining the team to lead the company’s commercial and logistics strategy in the Iberian Peninsula. With more than 20 years of experience in the logistics industry, Alcalá has held various leadership positions in national and multinational companies. (cj)
