A new director of business development
The International Association of Ports and Harbours (Iaph) has appointed Nick Blackmore as its new director of business development. He will focus on the strategic and commercial development and marketing of the association’s portfolio of products and services, including the environmental ship index (ESI), the world ports conference and initiatives relating to the world ports sustainability programme (WPSP).
Prior to this appointment, Blackmore worked for Iaph on a consulting basis. Last year, he managed the organisation’s membership survey and consultation, interviewing senior players at 18 member ports and port associations. He also created the recently published the ESI whitepaper and was a speaker and panellist promoting the index at shipping events. (cj)
