A. Hartrodt to expand in Hungary and Poland

The European transport company is focusing on the truck and automotive business as the fastest-growing segment with great potential in Eastern Europe.

Following the successful launch of an own vehicle fleet at its affiliate in Poland, A. Hartrodt is now planning to invest in own fleets in other countries. As a next step, the haulier is preparing to build its own container chassis fleet in Hungary in 2024. But its regional heavyweight is the Polish national branch, A. Hardrodt said.

To continue its growth strategy, the company will start renting up to 5,000 sqm of warehouse space in Małaszewicze (Poland) by 2024. It sees the logistics centre near the Polish-Belarus border as an important hub on the still preferred northern corridor of the Iron Silk Road. (ben)
