A good year for Echo Global
Chicago-headquartered Echo Global Logistics has reported its financial results for 2020. In total, revenues surged by 14.9% to USD 2.5 billion in comparison to the prior year, as gross profit increased 1.6% to USD 374.1 million from 2019.
TL revenue went up by 22.3% to USD 1.8 billion from 2019, and TL volume grew by 11.7%. Transactional revenues increased by 14.9% to USD 1.9 billion, while managed transportation revenue saw an uptick of 14.9% to USD 574.8 million.
Nevertheless, net income rose by 6.7 % to a modest total of USD 15.8 million, compared to USD 14.8 million in 2019. (sh)
