A future for young people?
Europa Worldwide Group, a specialist road, air & sea and warehouse operator, aims to support young people by developing its own career programme. The RAPID career development programme for school-leavers has been re-launched in 2021 with an extension that focuses on graduates.
As an initiative of Europa’s managing director Andrew Baxter, it is intended to give them the opportunity to become part of the group’s sales team, which specialises in European road freight.
Lana Jay, Europa Worldwide Group’s early career talent manager: “The pandemic has shown a light on logistics, so we are seeing an increase in the level of understanding amongst both school-leavers and graduates”. (amh)
